CLIMATE LIVE: LIVE STREAMING CONFERENCES
What is it?
"Climate Live" is the name of a series of conferences on climate change, transmitted via live streaming to various schools in Portugal. Guest experts will address the topics of Biodiversity and Water in a climate change perspective.
What does live streaming mean?
The live streaming technology allows you to track a real-time event, from the web. To watch the event live, you simply have to access a link provided by the organisation. With live streaming, it is possible to achieve a virtually unlimited number of participants.
The conference has two main objectives:
1 - Sensitise students of basic and high education to the importance of climate change, particularly concerning biodiversity and water availability;
2 - Give students the opportunity to obtain answers to their questions, given by experts in the field of climate change.
How to interact?
After the interventions by the guest speakers are transmitted, schools have 15 minutes to prepare questions to ask the experts. Questions should be submitted via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). The experts will answer to as many questions as possible, within the time available.
