The Centre for ICT Competence in Education (Centro de Competência TIC na Educação) of the University of Minho is organising on the 13th of May (Friday), the Fourth Symposium in Digital Content for Education (JCDE 2016), directed at education professionals (higher and non-higher education). Clima@EduMedia is attending the event with the workshop “Teaching Science with the media in the digital age”.
The training, which will be organised by the project of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP- Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto), takes place in the afternoon, from 2 P.M to 4 P.M, and its target audience is primary and secondary education teachers.
Margarida Marques and Renata Silva, of the Clima@EduMedia team, will be the trainers in the workshop, which aims at helping teachers understand the importance of media and scientific literacies in the educational context, as well as knowing media usage strategies for teaching science.
A maximum of fifteen people can attend this workshop. Registration for all training in the Fourth Symposium in Digital Content for Education has a price of 30€ (general public) and 20€ (students). The amount charged by the University of Minho for a workshop allows you to participate in another training session at the Symposium for free. The registration deadline is the 6th of May.

The Fourth Symposium takes place at the Institute of Education of the University of Minho (Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho), Campus de Gualtar, in Braga.
