Ásthildur Jónsdóttir, a professor at The Iceland Academy of the Arts in Reykjavik (Iceland), is in Portugal, together with Icelandic Masters students, for a meeting with Clima@EduMedia's Project managers.
Between December 1 and 4, Professor Ásthildur Jónsdóttir and students Curver Thoroddsen and Sigríður Liv Ellingsen visit Portugal to exchange experiences and share knowledge about representation through art of the impact of climate change on nature with participants on Clima@EduMedia project
Among the Portuguese participants are José Azevedo, professor, researcher and coordinator of the project, and Raquel Correia, a student of the Master's Degree in Multimedia from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. The program includes a visit to portuguese Natural Parks.
The initiative is carried out under the Initiatives for Bilateral Cooperation Program of EEA Grants, which aims to strengthen bilateral relations between organizations in beneficiary countries and donor States.
The plan of activities, that will be developed initially in Portugal, was defined after the visit that José Azevedo paid last September to Reiqueavique and Höfn, where he met with the partners.
